Electric cars are here to stay, undoubtedly and automakers are constantly trying to surpass themselves. Each electric car that comes out today is better than the last one. The best part is that, as of today, there is an electric car available for almost any price range. You have models which are affordable, and then you also have ultra-luxurious electric cars with top-tier specs as well as a high price tag.

To further add to it, some of the features included in electric cars are just off-the-chart such as the shape-shifting wheel, ambient interior lighting, and everything in between. Performance-wise, there are no complaints as well, there are several EVs out there that can go from 0-60 mph in under a chilling two seconds, which is quite impressive. With that being said, here are 10 electric cars we can’t wait to drive yet.

Introduced as a 2024 model, the Cadillac Celestiq was first unveiled in 2022. This all-electric ultra-luxury car is here to redefine the term “luxurious cars”, and yet does not fall short on performance specs. Fitted with two electric traction motors, this AWD can whoop out 600 horses and can zoom to 60 mph in an estimated 3.8 seconds. The 2024 Cadillac Celestiq comes with an Ultium battery pack and can offer a driving range of 300 miles on a single charge and with a 200-kW charger, it can be charged up to 78 percent in under 10 minutes.

The interior is as luxurious as it can be. Leather, open-pore wood, and a ton of other ecological-sourced materials are used throughout the interiors. Furthermore, the transparency of the roof can be changed as it is made of electrochromic glass panels. The most amazing part is that this car comes with an extremely large infotainment display system, which is 55 inches, and a 12.6-inches display system at the back as well as a barrage of other features. As you’d imagine, this can isn’t going to be cheap by any means, it will cost you an approximated $300,000 (including destination).

If you aren’t aware, the ZDX isn’t a new nameplate at all. Acura first introduced the ZDX, the ICE-variant, way back in 2009, and in 2022, it was announced that Acura would bring back this nameplate for their first all-electric car. To power this all-electric car, Acura will make use of GM’s Ultium battery pack and can offer an estimated 312 miles per charge. As far as interiors go, you can expect a mixture of premium and eco-logically sourced materials. There is very little information available in regard to other features included. The price for the 2024 Acura ZDX starts from an estimated $60,000 (destination included) and can go up to $75,000 (destination included).

Lotus’s very first production SUV, the 2024 Lotus Eletre was introduced to the world in 2022. This crisp-looking SUV comes with a dual-electric motor setup powered by a 109.0-kWh battery pack and can generate a little over 600 horsepower. The top-tier “R” trim offers a staggering 905 horsepower and can go from zero to 60 mph in under 2.8 seconds while offering a driving range of 260 miles on a single charge. But if you want more range, the base trim will do the trick with 315 miles per charge.

Offered either as a four-seater or a five-seater, this all-electric car comes with interiors made from microfibre, wool-blend fabric, accentuated by milled bronze and other materials. Furthermore, the 2024 Lotus Eletre comes with a 15.1-inch infotainment display system with every standard integration along with other fantastic features. The 2024 Lotus Eletre will cost you anywhere between $115,000 (destination included) and $155,000 (destination included).

First released in 2018, the Hyundai Kona Electric made its way to American soil the following year and now the 2024 Kona Electric is all set to raise the bar. It comes with a single-motor setup, depending on the trim you choose it can generate anywhere between 133 ponies and 201 horsepower. Although there isn’t an official number, you can expect the 2024 Kona Electric to be faster than the previous models. Again, depending on the model you choose you can either get a 48.6-kWh battery pack which is good for an estimated 197 miles per charge, or you can get the 64.8-kWh battery pack which offers a good 260 miles of range on every charge.

The all-new Kona Electric is much more spacious than Hyundai’s previous offerings with this nameplate and the interior comes with ambient lighting, a center pad, and a number of other driver/passenger-centric features. The 2024 Hyundai Kona Electric is priced rather affordably, the base trim will cost you an estimated $35,000 (destination included) whereas the costliest trim is priced around $45,000 (destination included).

A new variant for an old nameplate, the all-electric Mini Cooper Countryman is due to go on sale in 2024 as a 2025 model. As far as we know, there will be two trims available, the base trim comes with a single motor setup and can generate an estimated 188 horsepower while the other trim “S E AII4” comes with a dual-motor setup and can generate a combined 308 horses.

To power the electric motors, the 2025 Countryman Electric comes with a 64.8-kWh battery pack which can offer an estimated driving range of a little over 210 miles on every charge. As far as interiors and other included features go, there’s little to no information available as yet. You can expect the 2025 Mini Cooper Countryman Electric to be priced at around $45,000 (destination included).

All set to be released in the fall of 2023, the 2024 Silverado EV is the first ever all-electric offering with this nameplate. Powered with two electric motors, the Silverado EV’s base trim offers 510 horsepower and the top-tier “RST First Edition” trim can generate up to 754 horses. The WT trim can go from a standstill to 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds. As far as range goes, the base trim can go nearly 400 miles on a single charge, which is quite impressive, and the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV can tow up to 10,000 pounds.

Similar to a few other cars on this list, the 2025 Buick Electra is a brand-new all-electric variant of the Electra nameplate. You can expect this Buick Electra E5 to be released into the market by late-2024 as a 2025 model. Yet again, based on GM’s Ultium platform, it comes with a single-motor setup. In addition to that, this all-electric Buick’s base trim will come with a 68.0-kW battery pack which should offer around 330 miles on every charge, on the other hand, the Long Range trims come with a larger 80.0-kW battery pack which is good for 385 miles per charge.

This rather large all-electric SUV should be able to house seven to eight passengers.
